BOW Products Featherboards & Shop Safety

BOW Products Featherboards, Push Sticks, and Workshop Safety Tools

BOW Products has been engineering innovative workshop safety and productivity tools for over 30 years. The brand is known for identifying real problems in the shop and developing purpose-built solutions rather than simply copying what already exists. Their featherboards, push sticks, and safety packages are designed to improve accuracy while keeping hands safely away from cutting edges.

The BOW Products FeatherPro Featherboard mounts to table saw and router table fences to apply consistent lateral pressure against the workpiece, preventing kickback and reducing drift. The FeatherDuo Double Stack Featherboard adds a second row of feathers for increased holding power on taller stock.

Bandsaw Resawing and Router Table Safety Packages

BOW Products excels at bandsaw accessories. The GuidePro Resaw Featherboard provides side and top pressure for accurate, consistent resaw cuts. The 5-Piece Bandsaw Resaw Master Pack and 3-Piece Router Table Safety Package bundle the most useful safety accessories for each machine into a single purchase.

The BOW Products PushPro Push Stick and Expandable Push Shoe keep hands clear of the blade with ergonomic control. Visit the Infinity Tools learning center for safety setup guides.

What is a featherboard and why do I need one?

A featherboard is a safety and accuracy device that applies lateral spring pressure against a workpiece as it feeds past a saw blade or router bit. It prevents the workpiece from drifting away from the fence and reduces the risk of kickback. The BOW Products FeatherPro is a highly adjustable option for table saws and router tables.

Which BOW Products featherboard is best for bandsaw resawing?

The BOW Products GuidePro Resaw Featherboard is specifically designed for bandsaw use. It provides both side and top pressure to keep the board perfectly vertical and tracking straight through the blade during resaw cuts.

What is the difference between the FeatherPro and the FeatherDuo?

The FeatherPro is a single-row featherboard suited for standard stock thickness. The FeatherDuo stacks two rows of feathers, providing greater holding pressure and coverage for taller or thicker workpieces.

What comes in the BOW Products 3-Piece Woodworkers Safety Package?

The 3-Piece Woodworkers Safety Package bundles essential push and featherboard tools for general table saw safety. Exact contents are detailed on the product page. A dedicated router table version is also available.

Are BOW Products replacement feathers available separately?

Yes. BOW Products FeatherPro Replacement Feathers are available in standard and Ultraflex options. Replacing worn feathers restores full clamping performance without buying a new featherboard.

What is the BOW Products PushPro push stick designed for?

The PushPro Push Stick is an ergonomically designed push stick for feeding narrow stock through a table saw blade safely. It maintains a firm grip on the workpiece while keeping fingers well clear of the blade path.

Can BOW Products featherboards be used on a router table?

Yes. BOW Products featherboards are compatible with router table fence T-tracks and are used to hold stock against the fence and table surface during routing. The 3-Piece Router Table Safety Package is designed specifically for this application.
