A Jasper circle jig attaches to a handheld router and pivots around a center pin to guide the router bit in a precise arc, producing accurate circles or curved cuts at a repeatable radius. The Jasper Pro Circle Making Jig extends this capability across a wide range of diameters.

The Jasper Circle Guide with Spiral Router Bit includes both the circle guide jig and a spiral upcut router bit, so you have a complete circle-routing solution without purchasing a bit separately.

Spiral upcut bits evacuate chips more efficiently than straight bits and produce a cleaner shear cut on the edge of the circle. This is especially noticeable in hardwoods, where a straight bit can cause burning or ragged edges on curved cuts.

Specific radius ranges are listed on the Jasper Pro Circle Making Jig product page. The Pro model is designed to accommodate a broader range of diameters than the standard circle guide, making it suitable for both small rounds and large tabletop sizes.

Jasper circle jigs are primarily designed for use with a handheld router. For router table circle-cutting setups, a different type of pivot sled or jig is typically required. Check the product specifications on each Jasper listing for compatibility details.

Jasper circle jigs work with any material a router bit can cut, including hardwood, softwood, plywood, MDF, and sheet goods. MDF and Baltic birch plywood are particularly common for speaker baffles and decorative rounds because they are dimensionally stable.
